1921Founder, Mr. Hiroshi Homma started production of files for saws in Tsubame City, Niigata, Japan
1953Incorporated to Homma Hiroshi Yasuri Mfg. Co., Ltd.
Mr. Masao Homma was appointed senior director.
1963In addition to producing files, set up the 2nd factory for manufacturing metallic tableware.
1965Initiated production of gardening and forestry equipment
1966Company name was changed to HONKO MFG. CO., LTD.
1972Completed construction of head office and 2 factories at present place
1974Achieved annual turnover of over 1 billion yen.
1977Achieved annual turnover of over 2 billion yen.
1980Completed construction of No. 5 factoryInitiated production of electric gardening and household equipment.
1982Achieved annual turnover of over 3 billion yen.
1983Installed press-robot-manufacturing line.
Started supply of electric sprayers to Black & Decker in USA.
1985Started representation of consumer items made in USA & W. Germany.
1990Achieved annual turnover of over 4 billion yen.
1995Completed construction of No. 6 factory.
1996Open a branch in Tokyo
Set up welding robot-manufacturing line.
1997Completed construction of No. 7 factory.
Achieved annual turnover of over 5 billion yen.
Started accepting trainees from Indonesia
1999Mr. Shogo Homma is appointed as a senior director
